In 2010, Steven Bursten celebrates his 50th year in the window coverings industry. Bursten is co-founder of Exciting Windows! a national network of 68 independent window fashions retailers, and co-founder of Window Coverings University with classroom and online distance learning specializing in sales and profit management. A Graduate of Missouri University and a course for small business owners at Harvard University, he is author of "Bootstrap Entrepreneur", published by Thomas Nelson, plus more than 100 articles in leading trade journals on window coverings sales and management. Bursten is also the founder of Decorating Den Interiors, an international franchise company, and co-founder of the International Window Coverings Exchange, an organization of a dozen members retailing over $200 Million retail sales.

Mr. Bursten founded Exciting Windows! in 2004 with a vision of making internet technology accessible to independent window coverings businesses nation wide in addition to his proven strategies for business management and client development systems.
