About Us

For the past twenty-five years, Cathy has been handling public relations, special events and marketing for a variety of companies and individuals  in the home furnishings and interior decorating business.  She develops promotional ideas, writes press material and implements a wide range of communication efforts and strategies for retailers, decorators, artists, authors and others – to obtain coverage in local and national media and internet,  trade publications, TV and radio.

As a consultant to Exciting Windows!, Cathy keeps the Company’s name in both trade and consumer online and print publications – generating interest about its people, products and services. She also works directly with individual Exciting Windows! members in providing them with  public relations strategies such as press release ‘angles’ for their local community media as well as guidance for developing and presenting  decorating seminars and marketing at home shows.

A board member and vice president of the International Furnishings and Design Association (IFDA) and a consultant to the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID),  Cathy also handles public relations for the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) and a five-store  Exciting Windows! retail organization based in New Jersey.  A resident of  New York City, her apartment overlooks  Bloomingdale’s on Lexington Avenue and she thrives on the  constant energy that Manhattan provides on a daily basis!
