Our People

The Reflective Designer is now celebrating its 25th year in business. Owner Joseph Barnett has been featured in national publications as well as Iocal magazines and newspapers, including a feature in the Boston Globe.

Among their many accomplishments, The Reflective Designer was recognized in a national contest by Hunter Douglas for the creative design for a client’s room in which the client received a $10,000 award.

Joseph Barnett is the past Northeast Director of The Window Covering Association of America. Through his initiative Joseph started the first local chapter of the national organization that has now spread through­out the United States.  Joseph has become a Nationally Certified Window Treatment Specialist by completing a national course and test. He is the proud recipient of Hunter Douglas's Platinum-Plus Award. 

Elaine Monaco is also a Nationally Certified Window Treatment Consultant who has studied Interior Design and Fine Art.  Elaine's professional skills, combined with her unique creative ability to coordinate colors and patterns, provides her clients with exceptional results and a personalized environment.
