Remote Control Window Shades

I just returned from installing 6 Hunter Douglas Applause shades with the PowerRise 2.0 operating system. The customer has a wall of 6 windows, three above and three below. They wanted to be able to operate the shades from a remote control. The shades are battery operated and then the remote is programmed to operate the shades in groups. The customer chose to group the top shades as one, and the bottom shades as another group. Because the new Hunter Douglas Platinum Technology allows the remote to work using infrared or radio frequency, each shade can still be operated independently by using the point and click method. The customer took a long lunch and met us at his home. When we left, he was still happily playing with the remote and exploring his many options. I wonder if he ever went back to work?

Upholstered Headboard

I met with a returning customer last evening who wanted to add an upholstered headboard to her queen bed.  She wanted a fairly nuetral color because she likes to change her bedding frequently.  Headboards can be made in many styles.  After looking at many photos of style choices, she decided on one with a slight arch top and deep button tufting.  The fabric will be a solid, textured oatmeal color.  The beauty of this headboard will come from the tufting and she will be able to enjoy this for years to come.  We can provide upholsterd headboards or any reupholstery in the Mason, Maineville, and West Chester OH area
