I’m going back to my Scandinavian roots with this beautiful Dining Room inspiration. I adore a beautiful, red dining room. If there’s any room in the home that just feels right painted red, it would have to be the dining room where we gather with our friends and family during the Holidays to nourish not only our bodies but our hearts, as well. To create a successful design, the colors used in a room must be balanced. For example, if Honeysuckle is an accent color and you use it to paint a focal wall, you must balance that wall with some Honeysuckle elsewhere in the room. It may be found again in an ottoman, wall art, a lamp, a side table or area rug, for instance. Sprinkling the color throughout the room is an excellent way to create rhythm and visual balance.
