Arch Windows!

archtreatment.jpg   This client wanted to block all the light coming into the living room! With an arch window that can sometimes be difficult to cover in a decorative way. We have a treatment that looks good and it is completely functional! This arch treatment is above a honeycomb shade and was painted to match the shade exactly! Our client was very pleased! Now they have privacy and light control to the fullest!

Angle-Top Windows

angleshades.jpg

This client in south Anchorage had two windows in a stairway with too much light coming into the living room! We brought in honeycomb shades with a warm gold tone to compliment the wood trim and provide light control for a very simple, but functional treatment! We were able to use a Cordless shade for the bottom window and a standard shade with a pull cord that was easily reachable for the upper agle-top window. My client was very pleased to have complete control over the light coming in through these particular windows!

Arched Window Treatments!

Arched Windows have their own unique design opportunities and challenges, but with our help we make it fun and easy to treat your arch window! Two common types of arches are a full arch and an eyebrow arch. Some treatments we love incorporate swags, panals, medallions, and highlite operable arch treatments. Once we consider the look and the function of the treatment, while still keeping the beautiful architecture of the window. it will definitely be a focal point!

Amazing Arch Windows!

Arch-topped windows can be a little trickier to cover and still keep the amazing architecture. Usually these windows are custom sized and require custom window treatments to fit them. Ceiling mounted blinds or shades can be an option and are available in nearly all styles. Consider the stacking height when going this route as you’ll likely want the blind or shade to stack completely above the window so as not to cover or detract from the arch. Another solution, especially in a formal setting, is to go with drapes or panels. Another beautuiful way is with custom highlite arches that look like they belong on the window. They are a beautiful treatment that is very functional! With the help of  ExcitingWindows! by Morgan Lopez we can create a great arch treatment just for you!
